At Buckets of Love for Ukraine, we believe strongly that collections and donations should be lead by the needs identified and requested from the ground.
The most recent urgent request from the team in Poland is for food. Many generous Pols have used their savings to buy supplies for the 40,000 refugees who are crossing the border each day. Many of these savings have now run out.
It is essential that donated food is non perishable. This means dried food like pasta and rice, jars and tins. Below is the specified list sent from the Mocny Convoy team we are supporting on the ground.
ALL CANNED FOOD
FOOD WITH LONG USE-BY DATES
Baby food
Tinned Pates
Tinned Sausages
Kabanos (dried sausage a bit like salami or chorizo)
Juices
Oat Bars
In addition to these requests:
Dried pasta
Rice
Oats etc

Everything you give, no matter how big or small, is hugely appreciated and is going directly to Ukrainian refugees with nothing. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
"35 For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me [with help and ministering care]; I was in prison, and you came to Me [ignoring personal danger]." ... ‘I assure you and most solemnly say to you, to the extent that you did it for one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it for Me."

Matt 25: 34-40 (Abr)
Amplified Bible
"15 If a brother or sister is without adequate clothing and lacks enough food for each day, 16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace with my blessing, keep warm and feed yourselves,” but he does not give them the necessities for the body, what good does that do? 17 So too, faith, if it does not have works to back it up, is by itself dead."
James 2: 15-17
